We are the Choo Choo Wings Chapter V from Tennessee!
We are based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Check here often for stories about our adventures and dates of the next ride. We meet at Southern Honda Powersports off I-24 , exit 180B (south on Rossville Blvd about 3 miles, 5th light, turn right on Workman Rd) at 1408 Workman Road every second Saturday of the month where we eat and greet at 9:00am and the fun begins at 10:00am. We like to make it interesting and informative yet keep it informal and FUN. We accomplish this through a balanced program of weekly rides and activities, rallies and charity work.
Weekly Rides and Activities: Every chapter has a focus. Some are into competition while others live for their charities. We enjoy those things too, but at Chapter V our focus on our love to ride motorcycles. We'll take a curvy, scenic backroad any day. We have organized rides most every weekend with overnights in the spring and fall. We are fortunate to live where the climate allows us to ride most of the year round, with suitable attire of course, and try to take advantage of that fact. Chapter members have dinner together a well as get togethers for dessert and coffee because we enjoy the company of our good friends.
Charities: Chapter V has selected St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital as our charity to support. We raise money through our fun days and from donations made from our meeting breakfast which is graciously supplied by Southern Honda Powersports. Recently, we have adopted the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and hope to be able to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
